These Terms & Conditions apply to services offered through Tistrya Yoga, including private yoga and somatic sessions, breathwork, wellbeing sessions, programmes, workshops and online sessions.

By booking or purchasing a service, you agree to these terms.

1. My services

My work may include yoga, gentle movement, somatic awareness, meditation, breathwork, relaxation and practices intended to support physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

These services are educational and wellbeing-based. They are not medical treatment, psychotherapy, psychological treatment or a substitute for advice or care from a suitably qualified healthcare professional.

No particular physical, emotional or wellbeing outcome can be guaranteed.

2. Your responsibility and suitability

You are responsible for deciding whether a session or programme is suitable for you.

Please tell me before participating about any relevant injury, pregnancy, medical condition, physical limitation or other health concern that may affect your participation.

You should seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional before participating if you have any concerns about your health or your ability to take part safely.

You are always free to modify a practice, rest or stop participating.

Participation is voluntary.

3. Bookings and payment

The price and nature of each service will be clearly displayed before booking or agreed with you directly.

Payment is due in accordance with the terms shown at the time of booking.

A booking is confirmed once any required payment has been received and confirmation has been issued.

A free discovery call does not create an obligation to purchase further services.

4. Consumer cancellation rights

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any statutory rights you have as a consumer.

Where a statutory cancellation period applies to an online or distance purchase, you may have the right to cancel within 14 days of entering into the contract.

If you expressly ask me to begin providing services during a statutory cancellation period, you may be required to pay for the proportion of the service already provided if you subsequently cancel, as permitted by law.

Where a service has been fully performed following your express request for it to begin during the cancellation period, statutory cancellation rights may cease where the law permits.

5. Cancelling or rescheduling appointments

For individual appointments, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Where less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the session may be treated as used or non-refundable, except where this would conflict with your statutory rights or where I agree otherwise because of exceptional circumstances.

If you are late, the session will normally still finish at the original scheduled time.

If I need to cancel a session, I will offer an alternative date or refund any payment relating to the cancelled service.

6. Programmes and packages

Where you purchase a programme or package of sessions, the number of sessions, price and payment arrangements will be stated before purchase.

If you choose to end a prepaid programme after any applicable statutory cancellation period, any refund for services not yet provided will take account of services already received and any reasonable costs already incurred, subject always to your statutory consumer rights.

Sessions should be attended within any timeframe stated when the programme is purchased.

7. Online sessions

For online sessions, you are responsible for having a suitable private space, internet connection and device.

Please ensure that you have enough room to move safely and that the area around you is free from hazards.

I cannot be responsible for interruptions caused by your internet connection, device or other circumstances outside my reasonable control.

8. Mental and emotional wellbeing

Mindful movement, breathwork, meditation and somatic practices can sometimes bring emotions, memories or physical sensations into awareness.

You remain in control of your participation at all times and may pause or stop any practice.

My services do not provide diagnosis, psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment or crisis mental-health support.

If you are experiencing a mental-health emergency or believe that you or another person may be at immediate risk, please contact an appropriate emergency or healthcare service.

9. Confidentiality

Information shared during private sessions will be treated respectfully and confidentially.

Confidentiality may need to be broken where required by law or where there is a serious safeguarding concern involving you, a child or another person.

10. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, written material, recordings, practices, courses and other content I provide remain the intellectual property of Tistrya Yoga.

They are for your personal use and should not be copied, reproduced, taught, distributed or commercially used without permission.

11. Liability

Yoga, movement and breath practices involve some inherent risk of discomfort or injury.

You agree to work within your own limits, follow safety guidance and stop if something feels painful, unsafe or inappropriate.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. Personal information

Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Tistrya Yoga Privacy Policy and applicable UK data-protection law.

Where you voluntarily provide health information for the purpose of assessing suitability or adapting your practice, it will be used only for appropriate wellbeing, safety and service-delivery purposes and handled with additional care.

13. Changes to these terms

These terms may occasionally be updated. The version applying to your booking will be the version available when the booking or purchase was made unless a change is required by law.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction applicable under UK consumer law.
